Geisha Boys
Geisha Boys is intended to be either a feature film, or a crime drama series. The plot elements work for both formats. In Geisha Boys, the main character, Keita, navigates the seedy world of love and affection bought and sold in the "host" clubs of Tokyo. Glittering establishments where lonely women pay to drink with handsome men, the Japanese, Chinese, and Nigerian mafias lurk in the background, using the connections and money fostered in the club where he works to fuel government leaders' plans. Everything changes when a high-ranking minister's wife falls in love with him.
Crypto Black
Crypto Black is a sci-fi, psychological, espionage series set in a future in which people who can and do change their racial characteristics as expensive status statements rule over those who have to live in their natural-born racial bodies. To save her best friend's son, our main character, Leila, is forced to become a spy who infiltrates the various race-based revolutionary groups that spawn during this time, which feed off the rage of the underclasses. Each group plans to start its own race war where their group will come out on top. Leila, who is Black, must stop them. Plus, she faces her own issues accepting and loving herself as Black woman, in a world telling her being racially fluid is the ideal. Yet, she experiences life as an Asian, White, and multi-racial woman. Will her unique experiences give her the unifying perspective that can bring her nation together, with the boon of self-acceptance?
Bondage
Bondage is a feature film about an African-American woman who finds self-empowerment through the world of S&M. Clorence has spent her life being all things to all people--especially her White boyfriend, Vince. When his aunt tells him she will fund his startup, if he breaks off his engagement with Clorence, she suddenly finds herself suicidal and willing to do anything to escape dealing with her sudden abandonment. That's when she meets a sexy stranger named Sam, who gives her a taste of a world where being meek has its advantages--and where one can learn to be dominating and bold.
R-Zero
R-Zero is a drama series about a Black epidemiologist who travels the world fighting outbreaks. Created with CDC epidemiologist Imran Mujawar, this series is based on the real-world Epidemic Intelligence Servive, or EIS, which is a branch of the CDC. We follow our main character, Dr. Darius Wynter, as he struggles to prevent pandemics, while in his travels and work coming face-to-face with the human flaws, and failed social systems that cause disease outbreaks to become pandemics. His desire as a Black man to be free of struggle and the downtrodden clash with the essence of his work with the sick. Can he ever reconcile these conflicting forces?
